Senior Performance Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Software Performance Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain performance tests based on usage patterns
- Design test strategies based on application usage models and production load patterns
- Execute performance tests to validate system performance, capacity, scalability, and stability
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience using Node.js (JavaScript or Typescript) to create and automate APIs or Packages
- 3+ years of experience in performance testing distributed systems at medium/large scale
- Experience with Kubernetes, containers, microservice architecture, and public cloud technologies
- Proficiency with code-based performance testing tools like Artillery, K6, Gatling, etc
- Experience using monitoring and observability tools such as Kibana, Datadog, Lightstep, Honeycomb, etc
