Senior Performance Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Performance Engineer II.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement performance metrics, analysis tools, and reporting systems
• Conduct in-depth performance analysis of the Linux kernel, virtualization layer, and network stack
• Identify system bottlenecks and drive optimizations across the hypervisor software stack

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer/Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience with performance measurement tools and strategies for managing infrastructure
• Strong proficiency in Go, Python, and/or Ruby
• Extensive knowledge of Linux kernel and hypervisors
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems at scale
