Senior Performance Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Performance Engineer to ensure optimal performance of software and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance tests to evaluate software scalability and reliability
• Develop performance projection models to predict future system requirements and recommend configurations
• Monitor system performance, analyze data, and collaborate with teams to optimize performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in performance engineering or related role
• Proficiency in performance testing and monitoring tools, and strong programming skills in Go, C, C++, and Python
• In-depth knowledge of Linux and experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker)
• Previous experience working on performance problems at scale
