Senior Performance Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior/Principal Performance Engineer to drive system-level and application-level performance across its product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain benchmarking frameworks and profile workloads to identify optimization opportunities
• Build automated performance regression-detection pipelines and resolve regressions across various layers
• Drive proactive performance improvements and optimize workloads for AI, HPC, and general computing

Required Qualifications

• Deep understanding of operating system internals, particularly Linux kernel components
• Proven experience in identifying and resolving performance regressions in production environments
• Hands-on expertise with profiling and tracing tools such as perf, eBPF, and VTune
• Strong background in AI/ML workload performance and HPC environments
• PhD in Computer Science or related field preferred; 15+ years of relevant industry experience required
