Senior Performance Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Performance Engineer will manage end-to-end performance testing for web and mobile applications, utilizing JMeter and collaborating with engineering teams to shape performance strategy while mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform load and performance testing on applications using JMeter and other tools
• Design and execute testing scenarios, collecting performance targets from stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze performance issues and track resolutions

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in performance testing and analysis of web-based enterprise applications
• Proficiency in JMeter and performance monitoring tools like Grafana
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as C#.NET or Java
• Experience with Kubernetes environments and performance testing in containerized deployments
• Advanced SQL knowledge and familiarity with source control tools like GIT
