Working remotely, the full-time Senior Performance Engineer will manage end-to-end performance testing for web and mobile applications, utilizing tools like JMeter and collaborating with engineering teams to shape performance strategies and deliver comprehensive reports.
Key responsibilities
- Perform load and performance testing using JMeter, collecting necessary performance targets from stakeholders
- Design and execute load, stress, and scalability tests while reporting issues and collaborating with engineering teams for resolution
- Mentor junior engineers on performance testing best practices and contribute to performance testing strategy and planning
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in performance testing and analysis for web-based enterprise applications
- Proficiency in JMeter and performance monitoring tools like Grafana
- Experience in designing test scenarios based on application functionality and usage patterns
- Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language, preferably C#.NET or Java
- Advanced SQL knowledge and understanding of infrastructure components relevant to performance testing
