Senior Performance Test Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote contract Senior Performance Test Engineer, the ideal candidate will design and execute workload models, validate system performance across hybrid infrastructures, and identify performance bottlenecks while leveraging AI-driven tools and techniques.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and execute workload models based on retail metrics for peak volume testing
• Validate system performance across physical on-premises hardware and containerized cloud platforms
• Identify and resolve database deadlocks, row-locking, and thread contention to ensure zero-downtime operations

Required qualifications:

• 7 to 10 years of experience in performance testing strategies for complex enterprise IT systems
• Proven track record in managing peak-volume load testing, especially during high-traffic seasons
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Java, Python, and Groovy
• Experience with load generation tools like Neoload, Apache JMeter, and LoadRunner
• Familiarity with APM tools and log analytics platforms such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and ELK Stack
