Senior Permitting Manager

Job Summary

Proactively collaborating with local governments and utilities, the remote Senior Lead Permitting Manager will enhance infrastructure deployment cycles, improve permitting processes, and foster positive relationships to support fiber investment in communities.

Key responsibilities

• Improve permitting, ROW approvals, and permission to attach approval to meet company deployment targets
• Gather and negotiate engineering design requirements from governing entities and document them for reference
• Act as a liaison between internal teams and local permitting offices to establish predictable permitting timelines

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience working in/with permit offices and key public sector officials
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
• 5+ years of experience in the technology, broadband, and/or telecom industry
• 5+ years of subject matter expertise in city/county/state government and utility permitting
