Senior Pharmacovigilance Physician

Job Summary

Managing complex medical-review assignments, the full-time Senior Pharmacovigilance Physician will provide comprehensive medical judgment on safety issues, lead client discussions, and serve as a medical subject-matter expert while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee signal detection activities and ensure compliance with safety surveillance processes
• Review individual case safety reports and aggregate safety data, interpreting and communicating complex clinical information
• Mentor junior staff on pharmacovigilance practices and maintain an extensive understanding of relevant regulations

Required qualifications

• MD or DO required, board certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in pharmacovigilance or related fields
• Expert knowledge of scientific principles and concepts
• Proficiency with MS Office applications
• Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11, FDA, and GCP requirements
