Senior Pharmacy Analyst

Job Summary

To lead a team of Pharmacy Analysts, the full-time remote Senior Pharmacy Analyst will manage complex pharmacy benefit programs for large employer clients, oversee PBM RFP processes, negotiate contracts, and deliver advanced analytics to support cost-containment strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of Pharmacy Analysts, ensuring quality deliverables and effective resource allocation
• Lead the development and execution of PBM RFPs, negotiating pricing and contractual terms with pharmacy benefit managers
• Perform deep-dive analyses of pharmacy claims to identify trends and opportunities for optimization, presenting findings to senior-level stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in pharmacy benefits management, PBM contracting, or health plan analytics
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Pharmacy, or a related field
• Proven ability to supervise teams and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• In-depth knowledge of PBM pricing models and specialty drug strategies
• Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and financial analysis
