Senior Pharmacy Benefit Consultant

Job Summary

Leading client-specific business strategy projects, the full-time remote Senior Pharmacy Benefit Consultant will manage relationships with national and regional health plan clients, focusing on strategic planning, research, and execution to address pharmacy challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end management of client business strategy projects, including planning, analysis, and delivery
• Develop and implement customized strategic plans to enhance client satisfaction and retention
• Lead the procurement and RFP process, including vendor selection and contract negotiation

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in PBM, pharmacy, and managed care environments
• Proven ability to develop strategies for large client Rx and medical benefit programs
• Strong financial analysis skills using Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or PharmD/RPh strongly preferred
• Experience in creating client-facing materials using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
