Senior Pharmacy Operations Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Pharmacy Operations Analyst to support a well-established organization in the healthcare insurance sector for a remote 11-month contract position.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams to shape, update, and operationalize pharmacy benefit structures for various commercial plan types
• Serve as a subject matter resource for escalated or complex benefit configuration issues, offering guidance and resolution
• Support annual benefit refresh initiatives by maintaining project documentation, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring milestones are met

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; an advanced degree is welcomed
• At least 5 years of experience in a related role, or 7+ years of relevant experience in place of a degree
• Strong background in pharmacy benefit design, operational workflows, and regulatory considerations
• Proven track record coordinating cross-functional initiatives and managing complex benefit related projects
• Ability to interpret and apply state and federal requirements related to commercial pharmacy plans
