Senior Philanthropic Partnerships Manager
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Sr Manager, Philanthropic Partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Sr. Director and newsroom colleagues to identify and drive funding opportunities
- Assist in securing institutional support to meet company-wide revenue goals
- Serve as an advisor to newsrooms on managing philanthropic partnerships and maintain comprehensive donor records
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in journalism or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of experience in development, grant writing, and administration
- Extensive knowledge of the media and journalism landscape, with existing relationships with philanthropic organizations
- Familiarity with Salesforce and basic accounting practices
