Senior Philanthropic Partnerships Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Manager, Philanthropic Partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Sr. Director and newsroom colleagues to identify and drive funding opportunities
• Assist in securing institutional support to meet company-wide revenue goals
• Serve as an advisor to newsrooms on managing philanthropic partnerships and maintain comprehensive donor records

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in journalism or a related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of experience in development, grant writing, and administration
• Extensive knowledge of the media and journalism landscape, with existing relationships with philanthropic organizations
• Familiarity with Salesforce and basic accounting practices
