Senior PHP Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior PHP Engineer to work remotely, responsible for building and integrating new APIs, optimizing lending platforms, and engaging in architectural discussions within a dynamic engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using PHP 8 and Symfony
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer journey and platform performance
• Implement automated testing strategies to ensure code quality and reliability

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of strong, modern PHP development experience (PHP 8.0+ required)
• Proficiency in a modern PHP framework, preferably Symfony or Laravel
• Experience with Domain Driven Design and microservices is a plus
• Strong skills in automated testing (unit, integration, functional)
• Desire to learn and contribute in a collaborative team environment
