Senior PHP Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a small cross-functional product team, the full-time Senior PHP Engineer will contribute to the development of a new mobile finance product aimed at international growth, collaborating closely with frontend engineers and product stakeholders in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams to align on API behaviors and MVP requirements
• Utilize modern PHP frameworks and best practices to build and maintain backend systems
• Implement automated testing strategies to ensure high-quality code delivery

Required qualifications

• Strong experience with PHP 8 and modern frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel
• Proficiency in Domain Driven Design, Message-Driven Systems, Event Sourcing, and CQRS
• Excellent automated testing skills for unit, integration, and functional testing
• Strong English language skills, both written and spoken
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects
