Senior PHP Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely with flexible hours, the full-time Senior PHP Engineer will design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using modern PHP frameworks, primarily Laravel, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance software products for the real estate sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain backend services and APIs in PHP, focusing on performance and reliability
• Manage dependencies and ensure services are secure and up-to-date using Composer
• Collaborate with various teams to refine requirements and deliver features within sprint cycles

Required qualifications

• Strong experience in PHP and Laravel, with a background in building production systems at scale
• Deep understanding of MySQL, including schema design and query optimization
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and containerized development using Docker and EKS
• Familiarity with modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and code review
• Proactive communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with an emphasis on security best practices
