Senior Physical Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Physical Design Engineer - LPU.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full-flow design process including synthesis, floorplanning, place & route, and timing constraints
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize power, performance, and area (PPA) and resolve architectural bottlenecks
• Lead design closure and ensure compliance for successful GDSII handoff and tapeout

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience; M.S./Ph.D. preferred
• 5+ years of experience in full-flow physical design for large-scale SoCs at advanced process nodes
• Expertise in low-power design, formal equivalency checks, and multi-voltage domain architectures
• Proficiency in advanced clock tree synthesis and sign-off timing analysis
• Strong command of EDA tools and scripting for automation in physical design flows
