Senior Piping Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Process & Piping Design Engineer to support the Molten Chloride Fast Reactor program.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop System Design Descriptions, Interface Control Documents, PFDs, and P&IDs to define system requirements
• Design piping layouts, select materials, and perform stress analyses using AutoPipe
• Prepare/review technical drawings, specifications, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or related discipline with 12+ years of experience in industrial mechanical systems
• Proven experience in piping design and analysis using AutoPipe or Caesar
• Proficiency with CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks or AutoCAD
• Knowledge of valves, fittings, supports, and piping materials
• Experience with nuclear reactor/process system design is highly desired
