Senior Piping Engineer

Job Summary

To support biopharma projects, the remote Senior Piping Engineer will design and engineer piping systems, conduct pipe stress analysis, and manage engineering activities while mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimize biopharma piping systems to meet project specifications and standards
• Conduct pipe stress analysis and prepare detailed engineering reports while ensuring compliance with industry codes
• Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance on stress analysis and piping design

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 6 years of experience in Piping Engineering or a related occupation
• Expertise in pipe stress analysis using Caesar II and AutoPipe
• Knowledge of biopharma piping systems and relevant industry codes (ASME, BPE, etc.)
• Experience in conducting failure mode analysis and troubleshooting piping system issues
