Senior PJM FTR Trader
Job Summary
Seeking a Senior PJM FTR Trader, the full-time remote position will manage a proprietary PJM-focused FTR book, develop trading strategies, and oversee risk management while allowing for significant autonomy in decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and manage a PJM FTR/CRR portfolio across various auction cycles, including position sizing and hedging
- Model transmission congestion and grid topology to identify trading opportunities
- Own risk management for the trading book, including position limits and PnL reconciliation
Required Qualifications
- Senior-level experience with full ownership of risk in trading
- Proven track record in managing a PJM FTR/CRR book with strong PnL results
- Deep knowledge of PJM market rules and auction mechanics
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills for model building and validation
- Experience reporting risk and performance to leadership
