Senior PL/SQL Developer
Job Summary
Leading end-to-end software development initiatives, the full-time Senior PL/SQL Developer will manage requirements analysis, data modeling, and hands-on PL/SQL engineering for critical national geographic data systems in a hybrid remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical analysis, relational data modeling, and functional design across all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Design, develop, test, debug, and optimize complex interactive and batch database applications using Oracle PL/SQL and SQL
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate business needs into technical specifications
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 10+ years of software development engineering experience
- 5+ years of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming experience
- Demonstrated expertise in relational database design, data modeling, and batch processing
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal background check/suitability clearance for federal agency contract support
