Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Plan Documents Specialist to facilitate client onboarding and document management for employer-sponsored welfare benefit plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify eligibility status and requirements for plan documentation
- Draft, finalize, and maintain complex benefit plan documents with minimal assistance
- Manage client communications and assist junior team members with drafting requests
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience required
- 3-5 years of employee benefits paralegal or similar job experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Health and Welfare benefit consulting in ERISA & Non-ERISA plans
- Experience in client management for self-funding document creation and management
- Exposure to plan/policy documents, including amendments/SMMs, in prior work environments
