Senior Planning Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Planning Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops strategic network plans for new deployments and existing network enhancements
• Prepares project plans and specifications, including requirements for switches, routers, power, and space
• Analyzes reports to identify areas for network expansion and provides cost data for capital planning

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of telecommunications experience and a bachelor's degree or higher
• Demonstrable understanding of LAN/WAN technologies and protocols
• Technical experience with Cisco, Juniper, and/or Nokia switch and router platforms
• Strong data trending and analysis skills
• Proven project management experience
