Senior Planning Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to manage fiber capacity planning and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Mass Markets feeder fiber planning, including capacity strategy and reinforcement identification
• Maintain knowledge of legacy copper architecture to assess impacts on capacity and service delivery
• Align plans to capital budgets and develop cost-effective scopes and estimates for Engineering execution

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
• 6+ years of related experience; 4+ years with a Master's Degree
• Strong experience in fiber network planning, preferably in Mass Markets environments
• Knowledge of planning systems and tools (e.g., GSA, TIRKS, NDS, UPP CapCore)
• Ability to identify data sources and extract data independently
