Senior Platform Architect

Job Summary

Serving as the lead technical authority, the remote Senior Platform Architect will define, maintain, and evolve the architecture of a large federal enterprise cloud platform while providing strategic architectural guidance to ensure scalability, interoperability, performance, and security.

Key responsibilities:

• Developing, maintaining, and governing the platform and system architecture
• Overseeing system design, integration patterns, and architectural standards
• Coordinating architecture reviews for new capabilities, system enhancements, and major platform changes

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of engineering experience; relevant experience may substitute for education
• Demonstrated experience designing and governing architecture for complex enterprise platforms in a SAFe environment
• Experience supporting Federal Government programs and enterprise-scale applications in cloud-based or hybrid environments
• Expertise in modern system architecture practices, including microservices and cloud-native platforms
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Public Trust / suitability determination
