Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop services optimized for speed and scalability, ensuring robust performance of data pipelines under high-demand conditions
- Implement and manage containerization technologies, including Podman and Kubernetes, to ensure efficient deployment and operation of the platform
- Design and implement efficient strategies for storage and retrieval of high-volume data from Elasticsearch/OpenSearch and Postgres databases
Qualifications/Attributes:
- BS in computer science or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience writing high-quality Python code with a track record of shipping impactful software in production
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Podman and Kubernetes
- Experience with writing test suites using Pytest
- Experience with CI/CD frameworks such as Jenkins or Gitlab
