Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join their Developer Tooling Team with a focus on database platform automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain internal tooling for automating database-related workflows
• Establish metrics to assess the impact of database workflows and drive tooling improvements
• Integrate database tooling into CI/CD pipelines for reliable database change delivery

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of software engineering experience focused on infrastructure or developer tooling
• Experience with relational or distributed database technologies, particularly MySQL or Cassandra
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Ruby, Python, Go, or Rust
