Senior Platform Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join their remote Platform Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, reliable systems using technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and GCP
- Collaborate across teams to identify development lifecycle pain points and build tools for improved efficiency
- Champion system reliability by optimizing performance, monitoring systems, and leading incident response efforts
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in at least one core language (GO, Node/Typescript) for operational efficiency
- Experience guiding and mentoring engineers on high-scale, distributed software systems
- Technical lead experience on large projects
- Direct usage of SQL and general database administration knowledge
- Experience contributing to automated build and deployment systems
