Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer who will work remotely and must adhere to Pacific Standard Time.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the traffic proxy/API Gateway platform and manage CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with SREs and QA teams to resolve production and test environment issues
• Implement bug fixes, security patches, and continuously improve service performance and scalability

Required Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Java or C++ with solid software engineering fundamentals
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and high-performance infrastructure services
• Experience with large-scale traffic processing and familiarity with Nginx or similar technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in infrastructure or platform engineering
