Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer who is an expert in AWS and specializes in architecting secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and manage AWS infrastructure for a high-availability PHP/JavaScript application stack using Terraform
• Own and improve the CI/CD pipeline with GitHub Actions and CodePipeline for reliable deployments
• Lead initiatives for scaling and tuning the MySQL-based data layer, ensuring security and compliance standards are met

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering role
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, VPC, S3, and IAM
• Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform and modern CI/CD practices
• Solid knowledge of MySQL tuning, replication, and scaling strategies
