Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-uptime cloud-native services
• Create new features/services to enhance existing offerings and build infrastructure tools
• Lead strategies to improve performance, efficiency, and reliability of services while maintaining security practices

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with highly available cloud services, preferably in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Proven experience writing maintainable code in Python; familiarity with Rust and/or Javascript is a bonus
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and CI/CD workflows
• Experience with Linux operating systems and containerized applications
• Experience in cost optimization and participating in on-call rotations
