Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, improve, and extend the company's infrastructure
• Support engineering teams in enhancing the performance of workers and webservers
• Collaborate with the Engineering Team to address performance and reliability challenges in infrastructure

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with the AWS ecosystem (ECS, EC2, Networking, S3, Lambda, Route53, SQS)
• Strong experience with CI/CD
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Experience with Python and Docker, with an understanding of infrastructure debugging and maintenance
• Nice to have: experience with stream processing (Kafka or Kinesis) and knowledge of transactional and non-transactional databases
