Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to manage infrastructure, tooling, and delivery systems for their engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain internal platforms and developer tooling to enhance delivery and reduce operational toil
• Codify infrastructure using declarative, version-controlled approaches and build self-service capabilities for product teams
• Conduct root cause analysis on production incidents and maintain documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and incident response

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or related roles
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure codification tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Proven experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language and solid grasp of Linux fundamentals and networking concepts
