Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of the Evidence Platform on AWS, the fully remote Senior Platform Engineer will take ownership of the platform's infrastructure, CI/CD processes, and enhance developer experience by collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Simplify and maintain CI/CD pipelines for a multi-project monorepo, ensuring operability for the broader engineering team
• Plan and execute incremental infrastructure changes with clear communication and validation strategies
• Build and maintain operational documentation and monitoring systems to enable independent troubleshooting by other engineers

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE, with a focus on reliability and compliance
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, and container orchestration technologies
• Solid Python skills and ability to work across the stack when necessary
• Experience building and maintaining trusted CI/CD pipelines and executing incremental infrastructure changes
• Familiarity with using AI tools to enhance infrastructure and developer experience
