Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Database Platform team, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will design, automate, and operate production-scale database platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable self-service capabilities and drive large-scale database migrations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement database infrastructure provisioning modules and automation pipelines
• Lead strategic database migrations, ensuring successful planning and execution
• Serve as a senior technical advisor on database architecture and operational best practices

Required qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of combined software and infrastructure engineering experience
• 2+ years of production-scale experience with distributed or document-oriented databases
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform
• Experience operating cloud infrastructure at enterprise scale in AWS
