Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on enhancing the internal platform for cancer care, the remote Senior Platform Engineer will lead platform initiatives, manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform, and improve CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead medium-to-large platform initiatives from discovery through rollout and adoption
• Own and evolve the AWS platform, utilizing Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code tools
• Improve CI/CD pipelines by optimizing performance and enhancing deployment capabilities

Required qualifications

• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and service observability
• Proficiency in deploying and managing containerized workloads in a cloud environment, preferably AWS
• Professional experience using Python for scripting and infrastructure frameworks
• Participation in an on-call rotation and familiarity with observability tools
• Experience in healthcare, health tech, or regulated environments
