Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Owning and scaling backend systems, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will enhance data infrastructure and operational excellence while collaborating remotely with product engineers to improve platform capabilities and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Own and scale critical backend systems including data sync pipelines and workflow automation
• Drive platform-level projects that unlock new product capabilities and improve feature development velocity
• Participate in on-call rotation and lead post-incident reviews to enhance system observability and resilience

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building and operating complex backend systems in production
• Strong TypeScript/Node.js fundamentals with hands-on experience in a fully TypeScript codebase
• Deep experience with AWS managed services and modern cloud-native architecture patterns
• Experience with event-driven systems and streaming infrastructure
• Proven track record of owning significant technical areas from design through implementation and operation
