Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a self-motivated Senior Platform Engineer to join the Developer Enablement Team in a full-time remote capacity, where the engineer will enhance cloud-native platforms, manage Kubernetes and AWS applications, and improve the developer experience across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage fundamental cloud services and tooling, including cloud networks and security policies
• Administer Kubernetes clusters and explore new tools to enhance application security and reliability
• Assist engineers with best practices for platform deployment and manage CI/CD and internal tools

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Systems Engineering
• Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language, such as Python or Go
• Strong understanding of networking, containers, security, and scalability
• Experience with Kubernetes fundamentals and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
• Broad experience with cloud services, particularly AWS, and observability platforms like Datadog
