Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Owning outcomes for engineering teams, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will work remotely to design and implement self-service tooling, enhance platform reliability, and drive automation initiatives that improve developer experience and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

• Frame problems, design solutions, and own the outcomes while ensuring scalable, reusable tooling for internal engineers
• Set technical direction for GitOps, Kubernetes, and serverless patterns, leading migrations to secure and efficient practices
• Lead incident response and postmortems, implementing durable fixes and maintaining SLAs without causing burnout

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience building and operating production infrastructure at scale
• Deep expertise in AWS, containers, and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong command of CI/CD practices and Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform
• Experience with Linux, production databases, and networking fundamentals
• A 4-year degree in engineering or computer science
