Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To support a large-scale VMWare re-platforming and OLVM migration project, the hybrid contract Senior Platform Engineer will focus on Kubernetes-based container management, CI/CD automation, and cloud infrastructure support within an enterprise banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters using Rancher in multi-environment setups (Dev, Test, Prod)
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform and develop Bash scripts for system operations
• Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and application teams to ensure platform stability and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues

Required Qualifications

• Professional experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including cluster lifecycle management and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with Rancher for cluster provisioning
• Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Proficiency in Bash scripting and solid understanding of Linux system administration
