Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Owning and improving the cloud infrastructure for a browser-based simulation platform, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will enhance Kubernetes capabilities, drive observability initiatives, and shape multi-region architecture while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Evolve the Kubernetes platform by evaluating and adopting new technologies and coordinating across engineering teams
• Drive organization-wide adoption of OpenTelemetry for enhanced observability and help define meaningful SLOs
• Support the transition to a global, multi-cloud architecture that meets disaster recovery and data residency requirements

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in SRE, platform, or infrastructure engineering
• Software development experience in languages such as Python, Go, Rust, or Java
• Strong understanding of Linux internals and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with AWS (or GCP), Terraform, ArgoCD, and Kubernetes
• Experience with observability tools like OpenTelemetry and Prometheus
