Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

As the first dedicated Platform Engineer on the remote DevOps/Infrastructure team, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will own and extend internal developer tooling, contribute to AI infrastructure, and support cloud administration within AWS and Kubernetes environments.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain internal developer platforms, focusing on automation and self-serve infrastructure
• Extend cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform and Crossplane, particularly for Kubernetes and AWS services
• Provide technical mentorship and support to other engineers while participating in on-call incident response

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles
• Proven experience in improving developer productivity through platform tooling and infrastructure automation
• Professional experience with AI applications in infrastructure and platform engineering projects
• Strong familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IAC), and CI/CD tooling
• Demonstrated commitment to operational excellence and incident response practices
