Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing Platform Engineering team, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will lead cross-organizational features, enhance developer velocity, and improve system reliability while working remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the success of subsystems and execute medium to large impact team initiatives
• Create technical designs focusing on cost efficiency, security, and observability
• Participate in on-call rotations and address root causes of issues while improving operational excellence

Required qualifications

• Experience with stateless and fault-tolerant systems, and familiarity with eventing patterns and distributed paradigms
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, GCP, and Terraform
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and weigh technical and business trade-offs
• Strong collaboration skills with a focus on cross-team engagement
• Experience using agentic tooling to enhance workflows and mitigate production issues
