Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To support the demands of enterprise customers, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will own and evolve core platform infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, focusing on system reliability, developer experience, and operational excellence in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve core platform infrastructure, including networking, compute, storage, and deployment pipelines
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe, and reliable deployments
• Define and enforce infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or Pulumi

Required qualifications

• Production experience with IAM, service accounts, project isolation, and networking on Google Cloud Platform
• Proficiency in building and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform, Pulumi, or similar
• Strong backend engineering skills, with production-quality code experience, preferably in TypeScript
• Experience in building or maintaining logging and observability pipelines at scale
• Ability to reason about operational risk and make deliberate tradeoffs in infrastructure improvements
