Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design and build self-service developer platforms and manage GitOps-based continuous delivery in a full-time remote position, focusing on client satisfaction and high availability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build a self-service developer platform using Backstage, including software catalog and developer portal experience
• Own GitOps-based continuous delivery with Argo CD or Flux CD, implementing app-of-apps patterns and progressive rollout strategies
• Architect and scale production Kubernetes environments while developing automated workflow orchestration using Argo Workflows

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Platform, Infrastructure, DevOps, CloudOps, or Site Reliability Engineer
• Hands-on experience building and customizing Backstage and implementing Argo Workflows
• Deep experience with Kubernetes, including designing and operating production clusters
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Golang, Python, or TypeScript
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure in building highly-available environments
