Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Platform Engineer to work in a hybrid environment, responsible for writing production-grade code, improving system reliability and performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance observability and incident response processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, write, and ship production-grade code to fix bugs and enhance performance across multiple services
• Tackle complex coding challenges and resolve application issues by diving deep across the stack, including backend code and infrastructure components
• Collaborate with US-based engineering teams, participating in incident response and improving operational processes to minimize downtime

Required qualifications:

• 7-8+ years of software development experience, particularly in backend or SRE/infrastructure roles
• Strong coding skills in languages such as Python or Go
• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases, including performance tuning
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems, Docker, and Kubernetes in production
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms like Datadog or Prometheus
