Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To support the growth of a pioneering platform team, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will manage AWS infrastructure, enhance security protocols, and optimize CI/CD processes while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the AWS account split, managing production, staging, and development environments
• Lead the migration of Aurora DB and manage ECS Fargate services, RDS clusters, and other AWS resources
• Improve GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines and develop local development stack initiatives for product teams

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience with at least 3 years focused on infrastructure and platform engineering
• Deep expertise in AWS services including ECS, RDS, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch
• Proficiency in Terraform and experience writing infrastructure as code
• Strong background in CI/CD practices, particularly with GitHub Actions
• Experience with observability tools such as CloudWatch or Datadog
