Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the lifecycle and automation of the Kubernetes platform, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will design, build, and operate network automation services across data centers and cloud environments while providing production support and driving complex problem resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate the Kubernetes platform for GNI network automation and operations
• Manage the lifecycle of GNI Kubernetes environments, including onboarding, upgrades, and recovery
• Provide production support for network services and lead incident response and recovery efforts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience with production Kubernetes platforms or network infrastructure
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes lifecycle management, networking, and recovery
• Proficiency in a general-purpose programming language, such as Go or Python
• Experience with GitOps, CI/CD, and automated production delivery
