Senior Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To build and operate resilient Kubernetes platforms with Go, Python, or Java, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will shape cloud infrastructure and reliability while leading significant initiatives in a fully remote role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and operate production Kubernetes clusters and implement service mesh capabilities
- Write and maintain production services, controllers, and middleware, ensuring testability and performance
- Lead incident response for platform-level issues and define SLOs to enhance system reliability
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in software, platform, infrastructure, or site reliability engineering
- Proven experience building and operating production Kubernetes platforms
- Production experience with Go, Python, or Java
- Experience in migrating cloud services and executing production workload moves
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
