Senior Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Joining a mission-driven team, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will build and maintain cloud infrastructure and application platforms while enabling product and data engineers to deploy daily and troubleshoot complex system interactions in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Help build out cloud infrastructure and application platforms
- Assess risk and impact for changes to the live environment and join the on-call rotation
- Design and implement autonomous self-healing processes in systems
Required qualifications
- Experience working in a start-up environment
- Proficient in building scalable infrastructure for web applications or data workloads
- Deep troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes under time pressure
- Fluent on the command line and comfortable working with Linux
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP, AWS, or Azure, and familiarity with GitOps technologies like Terraform
